The Mid Bays Festival, held every alternate year, is a tradition that goes back a long way. Involving Year 5, 6, 7 & 8 students from local contributing schools, the Festival is held at the Bruce Mason Centre over two nights towards the end of Term 2.  School vocal groups sing as part of the massed choir with each school also contributing their choice of artistic group item as well.  Performance groups generally work towards the Festival during Terms 1 & 2. There are usually around 100 students from Browns Bay School involved in Festival performances as well as those students from all years who contribute to an art display in the Bruce Mason foyer during the Festival month.
