The recently completed, purpose built Performing Arts room is an outstanding asset to our school. It is used every day for a multitude of purposes related to our Arts programme at Browns Bay. All students visit the Studio regularly to experience Music, Dance and Drama and to make full use of the wide range of instruments and equipment available. The room is also used for Kapa Haka, dance group rehearsals, lunchtime music and dance practices, visiting speakers and team assemblies. A community ‘Name our space’ competition voted in ‘The Studio’ as the name of this wonderful Performing Arts venue. We are ever grateful to our school community, for the massive fundraising effort involved to enable this room to be built.
