Winter Netball - Terms 2&3
Winter netball is played through Terms 2 and 3 - however registrations happen in February each year. All registrations for netball are made online - please see links below.
Year 1-4 Information:
* Games played on Saturdays
* Games played at Pinehurst School
* Year 3 and 4 teams are usually graded and trials happen for this
* Year 1-3 play in the school sports uniform, and Year 4 play in the school netball dress which is hired for the season and then returned.
* The cost is usually around $55 and if the team can not supply their own umpire then there is a cost of $7 a game for one. Year 4s also pay an additional $15 to hire a netball dress for the season.
* Teams must have a coach and manager to be registered
* Training times and days are decided by the coach once teams are put together.
** Summer Netball Term 4 - This is offered to Year 1-6 at Pinehurst for 6 weeks in Term 4 - Teams are orgainised for this around September each year.
Year 5-6 Information:
* Games played on Wednesdays after school anytime from 3.45pm - 7pm
* Games played at Netball North Harbour -Onewa Domain
* Teams are graded and trials happen for this
* Teams play in the school netball dress which is hired for the season and then returned.
* The cost is usually around $95pp and then there is a cost of $10 a game for umpires each week.
* Teams must have a coach, manager and umpire to be registered
* Training times and days are decided by the coach once teams are put together.
** Summer Netball Term 4 - If teams would like to continue playing in Term 4 at NNH then teams sign themselves up to continue, otherwise Y5/6 girls can opt to play Saturday Pinehurst netball for Term 4 as above.
